Felwarped Slab Legion Remix: Farming Guide, Drop Rates & Deadline

Legion Remix introduced a guaranteed path to the Hammer of Vigilance, but there’s a catch. The weapon requires 20 Felwarped Slabs, a currency that drops from exactly one boss in the entire event. With daily lockouts limiting how fast you can farm, most players spent at least three days grinding Tomb of Sargeras for the materials.

The system went live when Phase 3 opened on November 4, 2025, giving players until January 19, 2026 to collect everything. That’s already passed, making this one of the shortest windows Blizzard has offered for a previously sub-1% drop rate transmog.

Where Felwarped Slabs Drop

Maiden of Vigilance in Tomb of Sargeras is the only source. She’s the seventh boss overall, positioned at the start of the Chamber of the Avatar wing. No other encounter in Legion Remix awards these tokens.

The drop quantity scales with difficulty:

  • Normal: 1 slab
  • Heroic: 4 slabs
  • Mythic: 10 slabs
  • LFR: 0 slabs

Daily lockouts apply to all Tomb of Sargeras difficulties during the event. You can’t run the same difficulty twice in 24 hours, which stretches the farm across multiple days even on Mythic.

What You Get With 20 Slabs

Trade 20 Felwarped Slabs and 30,000 Bronze to Pythagorus in Dalaran’s Infinite Bazaar for the Hammer of Vigilance. The one-handed mace features a cracked Fel crystal embedded in a gold hammer head with green energy spikes.

During retail Legion, this weapon had a 0.2% drop chance from Maiden of Vigilance. Collectors ran the raid weekly for years without seeing it. Legion Remix removed the RNG but added the time-gated currency requirement instead.

Eight classes can equip it: Death Knight, Druid, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, and Warrior. Demon Hunters, Hunters, Mages, and Warlocks can’t use one-handed maces at all.

How Long the Farm Takes

Mythic runners needed two full clears to reach 20 slabs. That’s two days minimum with daily lockouts. Heroic required five days, while Normal difficulty forced players through 20 separate kills across three weeks.

Bronze was never the limiting factor. Raids, Mythic+ dungeons, and world quests generate Bronze constantly. Most players hit 30,000 before collecting their final slab.

The real chokepoint was boss access. Tomb of Sargeras has nine bosses total. Reaching Maiden of Vigilance meant clearing at least six prior encounters, or joining a group already at her position. Full clears took organized groups roughly 30 minutes on Mythic, longer on lower difficulties with undergeared players.

Alternative Uses for Excess Slabs

After purchasing the Hammer of Vigilance, Pythagorus accepts additional Felwarped Slabs for Minor Bronze Caches. This only applies to players who already bought the first four special boss-drop items from his vendor list.

The conversion rate isn’t particularly generous. Most players stopped farming once they hit 20 slabs and moved on to other Legion Remix rewards.

Maiden of Vigilance Mechanics

The boss alternates between Holy and Fel energy throughout the fight. She applies Light Infusion or Fel Infusion debuffs to random raid members. If players carrying opposite infusions move within three yards of each other, Unstable Soul triggers and causes raid-wide damage.

Groups handled this by splitting into two groups based on their active infusion. Light stayed left, Fel stayed right. The mechanic repeated every 30 seconds with new random assignments.

Fragment phases required dodging energy orbs while maintaining proper spacing. On Mythic difficulty, uncollected fragments exploded for additional damage.

Legion Remix’s scaling made the encounter significantly easier than retail Mythic progression. Most groups cleared it without voice communication after the first few attempts.

The Time Crunch Reality

Phase 3 launched November 4, 2025. The entire event closed January 19, 2026. That provided 76 days total, but players who started late or focused on other content first had less time.

Blizzard announced the January 19 end date weeks in advance. Community forums showed a surge of farming activity in the final week as procrastinators realized they were running out of time.

Players who missed the deadline now face the original retail drop rate. The Hammer of Vigilance is back to being a 0.2% chance from Maiden of Vigilance in current content, with weekly lockouts instead of daily. That’s potentially months or years of farming versus the guaranteed two-day Mythic clear during Legion Remix.

The event compressed an entire expansion’s worth of content into 76 days. Felwarped Slabs represented one of the few remaining grinds that couldn’t be instant-purchased with Bronze, keeping at least some time investment required for the rarest cosmetics.
